Why you CAN’T get Clients… and what to do!
What is the #1 struggle I hear from LEADERS all over the world that I speak with? Whether it is a coach, a speaker, or the CEO of the company they all say the same thing. I need more clients. Well the symptom is not the root cause of the problem, you are asking the wrong questions.
How do I get more clients?
How do I convert my tribe?
How do I create more income?
Instead ask
“Why are some people and organizations more innovative, more influential, and more profitable than others? Why do some command greater loyalty from customers, clients, and employees?”
All great inspiring leaders think, act, and communicate differently. It’s the complete OPPOSITE of what everyone else is doing, You think you need to know how to convert, you think you need more clients yet you there are 3 things that leaders in their industry have that you don’t. People won’t buy into a product, service, movement, or idea unless you focus on cultivating these three areas.
#3. A Tribe.
You don’t have a tribe but you think you do. An email list with thousands of people and a social media follow or a Facebook group DOES NOT constitute having a tribe. Those are clients and prospects you are trying to convert to clients and not a tribe of raving fans. They are a tribe went they understand your Masterpiece, when they are defined in your culture. Want to know if you have a tribe or just people on your list? Ask your list/ group this question: What is my mission? Why am I in business? There answers will be very telling and you will instantly know if you have a tribe or a list of people.

#1. A Masterpiece Message:
You focus on the WHAT instead of the Masterpiece. Consider Apple and Dell. Apple has a Masterpiece Message. There company culture is to challenge the status quo, to think different and have the power to stand up to big brother. Since they are not defined by their product and WHAT they do they can go in any direction they wish unlike DELL who is defined by the product they sell: the computer.
When someone ask WHAT you do, do you respond by saying I am a ….. Health Coach, Spiritual Teacher, Speaker, etc…. You must redefine your WHAT into your Masterpiece. To inspire tribe to follow you, you must know your Masterpiece. Your Masterpiece is your WHY, the vision and mission that is beyond what you DO. Your Masterpiece is something that follows your Business through time. It is what creates your tribe and raving fan base. A tribe won’t follow a health coach but a TRIBE will follow “ heal the planet through returning to whole plant-based foods”.
To truly inspire people and create TRIBE you must have a Masterpiece Message. Great companies are born by looking backwards and creating a Masterpiece and not by creating a product. Your business begins with the Masterpiece. You can’t create tribe, convert clients or create massive impact without your Masterpiece. It is deeply personal and based on your personal experience, you must be able to write it down and put it into understandable words.
